Accessing ADVISR from DentalReferrals

ADVISR is fully integrated into FDS' Dental Referrals Application.  You can access like this:

Opening your Advice & Guidance Dashboard

Simply login to your account as normal, and be sure to select your GDC number from the existing list, or add it using the auto lookup feature.

You will now see your usual dashboard screen:

Note that there is a new button called "View A&G" - simply press this button to start the login process.

Ensuring you have the correct GDC number

You will now see this screen, which asks you to confirm your GDC number and enter your authorisation code from your mobile phone application. Please note that not all users will have access to A&G services in their areas.  Please revert to your NHS E contacts, or your LDN leads for more information on services available in your area. If you are not registered you will see this notification:

Starting a new A&G Session

Due to the integration with NHS systems you will need your patient's NHS number and DOB.  You can use the NHS demographics function within the dental referrals software to find this, or your patient may know this.  There are also online tools for patients to find their own NHS number.

Select a New A&G Session from the New menu and enter the relevant details.

You will be asked to confirm that the patient details are correct before you progress.  If they are, select "Accept" and then you can progress to select the A&G service you wish to use.

In this example we are selecting routine as our priority, then restorative dentistry and the service provided at Manchester Dental Hospital.

Select Submit, and your first A&G session will open.  Please see additional pages on how to use ADVISR's functions, modules and additional features or speak to the ADVISR lead at FDS.
