Leeds Pilot - 2. Requesting a Summary Care Record

The summary care record can be requested if:

  • The patient explicitly agrees to their record being viewed and shared
  • The care is considered urgent
You can request a SCR to view and share with the advice provider within ADVISR using the SCR Access module:
Simply select the module from the left hand side of the screen:
You need to confirm that the patient has given permission, and that the care is urgent.  You should enter your GDC number to confirm.
You will see the request posted as a system message.  If you are doing this between 08.00 and 20.00 hrs the SCR should be delivered in a few minutes.  After this, it will be available during those times.
