Summary Care Records

The summary care record can be requested if:

  • The patient explicitly agrees to their record being viewed and shared
  • The care is considered urgent
You can request a SCR to view and share with the advice provider within ADVISR using the SCR Access module:
Simply select the module from the left hand side of the screen:
You need to confirm that the patient has given permission, and that the care is urgent.  You should enter your GDC/ GOC/ GMC number to confirm.
You will see the request posted as a system message.  If you are doing this between 08.00 and 20.00 hrs the SCR should be delivered in a few minutes.  After this, it will be available during those times.
